RNCM Saxophone Day is the UK’s largest annual sax gathering (now in its 21st year!) - save the date for Sunday 5th November 2023.

Join experienced musicians and tutors, Jon Rebbeck & Andy Scott, as they lead a five-day music retreat in the beautiful countryside of Southwestern France from 3rd - 9th September 2023. This improvisation course is open to all instruments and voice, and will explore a range of approaches to improvisation in classical music and across the jazz spectrum. Whether you're a first time or intermediate improviser, take your improvising to the next level with 5 days of intensive creativity under the guidance of two tutors, ensuring a personalised musical experience to maximise your potential and enjoyment. Andy is a guest artist at the Palmela International Saxophone Festival (FISP) in Portugal, 10th - 15th July 2023. The festival programme includes a performance of Andy's double saxophone concerto, Dark Rain. Andy will also be giving a masterclass and directing Palmela Sax Assault in the festival's closing concert.  Supertramp saxophonist John Helliwell and his big band play the music of this legendary group with classic tracks arranged for big band.
