The UK’s largest annual sax gathering at The Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester takes place on the 5th November 2017 Andy Scott along with Rob Buckland as artistic directors are delighted to welcome saxophonist Timothy McAllister from America, a ‘virtuoso… one of the foremost saxophonists of his generation’ – New York Times, to perform a ‘solo set of contemporary masterworks in this exciting, innovative recital’ Timothy McAllister’s recital will take place at 14:15 in the RNCM Concert Hall Timothy will also be giving a masterclass and a talk on sax day  Andy Scott + Group S will also be performing at the sax day at 19:00 in the RNCM Theatre “Andy Scott + Group S will perform a selection of music from its recently-released CD (Basho Records) Ruby & All Things Purple, providing an explosive and thought-provoking finale to the RNCM Saxophone Day.” - RNCM For more info, including tickets, for all of the events on RNCM Sax Day 2017, click here
