Selected works for harp by Andy Scott
British award winning composer and saxophonist Andy Scott first started composing for harp in 2002 when he wrote his Sonata for Flute & Harp for his harpist wife. Since then he has received commissions for solo harp works from Keziah Thomas and Sioned Williams and has written several chamber music pieces that include harp. Scott is increasingly in demand to write for leading instrumentalists and ensembles on the world stage. Self taught as a composer, his distinctive compositional voice speaks with a unique and effective mix of jazz, world music, and contemporary classical elements.
