New Jazz Series at Davenham!
A few months ago I posted a news item here on my web site that anounce dthe demise of live jazz at Davenham Players Theatre in Cheshire. This was due to Arts Council England cutting funding.
It seems that at least three people visit my web site because the trio of jazz enthusiasts have put their hand sin their pockets, are undeertaking marketing and promtionasl responsibilies that will enable musicians to be booked for gigs again at this lovely venue! Incredible, and al lcredit to the gentlemen involved.
We had a meeting in the Summer and booked for Thursday 24th November at 8pm is the George King Trio. Fantastic musicians. Paul Kilvington & Sally Doherty are booked to play at Davenham on Thursday 26th January 2012.
